CAT 300 Excavator Crash Death

Watch as the operator in this tragic film attempts to navigate a CAT 330 series excavator out off muddy terrain onside of a a steep hill or cliff. You can hear the camera man yelling instructions to help guide the panicking excavator operator. The CAT 300 begins to slide down the hill, slowly at first, then suddenly the excavator driver looses all control as the giant piece of machinery tumbles head over heel, hundreds of feet down a steep cliff.

Sadly the driver did not survive; this excavator accident resulted in the tragic death of the man operating the CAT 300 excavator in the video. This should serve as a sobering reminder that only experienced excavator operators with the proper safety and equipment training should attempt to operate heavy equipment, especially in dangerous conditions such as those in the film.
